Having completed his education in Ankara Gülhane Military Medical School,  graduated as Medical Lieutenant and joined the Turkish Armed Forces, Dr. Metin Yurdakoş completed his residency on Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation in Ankara Gülhane Military Medical School.

While serving in 4th Infantry Division Command as the Director of Health and Veterinary Department, he gave seminars on ergonomics to personnel of Turkish Armed Forces who served in different conditions. Dr. Metin Yurdakoş completed his residency on Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation in Ankara Gülhane Military Medical School.

Appointed to Bursa Military Hospital in 1991, Dr. Metin Yurdakoş preceded his duty as Clinical Chief and Chief Medical Assistant until 1999 (in Turkish Armed Forces Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation and Hydro climatology Center). During this duty, he did researches on Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation, Spa and Wellness Centers  in the name of Turkish Armed Forces in Germany, Netherlands, Austria and Canada.

Serving as the Head Physician in Tatvan Military Hospital, Dr. Metin Yurdakoş retired from Turkish Armed Forces voluntarily and settled in Bursa.

Dr. Metin Yurdakuş who is still operating ROMMER (Center for Rheumatic Diseases Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation), which he founded in Cekirge in 1994, established and managed Bursa Human Health Center.

Prof. Dr. Şükrü Gündüz

He was born in 25th December 1949 in Samsun. He went to primary school in Ordu and got his secondary education in Trabzon. In year 1975 he graduated from Istanbul Medical Faculty. He had his internship for a year at Gülhane Miltary Medical Academy. Between 1976-1979 he worked as a field doctor for the 61st division in Çorlu. Between the years 1979-1982 he completed his expertise on Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Gülhane Medical Academy and continued working there as the main assistant. In year 1984 he became an assistant profesor. In the same year he attended to the summer school of TÜBİTAK to learn about the basis of Biology and Physiology. Between the years 1985-1987 he started working on Spinal Bifida (Paraplegy/Tetraplegy) at England’s Sheffield Children’s Hospital and Longe Moor Hospital. In 1989 he won the title of being a Univercity Professor. He served as a GATA Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department student. In 1995 he became a professor of that department. In year 2000 he got assigned as the main doctor of the newly founded TSK Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. He made the Center’s medical organizations and formed the management team fort he Center. He got retired on the fall of 2004. Since then he has been working for private organizations

Prof. Dr. Ş. Gündüz has published over 15 different writings to foreign countries and has many things that he has published in different local medical magazines. He has written many chapters for books. He took part in the Spinal Cord Magazine and he checked many articles before they were even published. He has introduced a lot of ways to treat patients in Turkey in terms of Spinal Cord Rehabilitation.

Uzm. Dr. Nihat Taşçı

He graduated from Gülhane Military Medical School. After working as a troop doctor in İstanbul, he completed Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Specialization Training at Gülhane Military Medical Faculty. He retired from Turkish Armed Forces after he worked in Bursa Military Hospital part-time and Bursa Konur Hospital, later Erzurum Mareşal Çakmak Military Hospital as a Physical Therapy and Rehailitation Specialist.

He has been working in Private Safety ROMMER Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Center since 2009.

His special interests in his profession are hemiplegia, paraplegia and hand rehabilitation.

Uzm. Dr. Muharrem Dursun

Physical Therapy And Rehabilitation Specialist.

After completing his medical education in İstanbul University Çapa Medical Faculty, Dr. Muharrem Dursun joined Turkish Armed Forces. After working as an intern doctor in Gülhane Military Medical School, he finished his troop duty as medical lieutenant.

He completed his specialty education between the years 1976-1980 in Gülhane Military Medical School. As a Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation specialist, he served in Çorlu Military Hospital between 1980 and 1984 and Bursa Military Hospital between 1984 and 1989. After that, when he was the chief physician in Sarıkamış Military Hospital between 1989 and 1990, he retired from Turkish Armed Forces voluntarily.

He worked as a private physician in Bursa where he came in 1990. After working in several private health institutions from the year of 1992, Dr. Muharrem Dursun has been a member of ROMMER family since 2014.

Dyt. Burçak Demirçelik

Nutritionist

Our nutrition and dietetic specialist was born in 1995 in Tokat. She completed her high scool education at Tokat Milli Piyango İhya Balak Science High School.

She graduated from Hacettepe University Department of Nutrition and Dietetics as an honor student.

Her graduation thesis ‘Evaluation of the Effect of Satiety on the Perception of Portion’ published  in Hacettepe University Nutrition and Dietetics VI. Postgraduate Training Course.

She organized and presented green tea and obesity themed saminar.
